As I was preparing this booklet, I began to see how this same word can apply to the faith crisis people experience concerning the Eucharist. Each and every person must ponder this word concerning Eucharist: EITHER JESUS IS TRULY PRESENT OR HE IS NOT. IF HE IS PRESENT, THEN HE REALLY IS. Then in faith affirm this word; I believe that Jesus is really present in the Eucharist. In fact this helped my faith in the Eucharist to grow. It is really a simple matter; we need to ask God to increase our faith. Deeper faith will take care of the lukewarmness and unbelief. We need to ponder the truth of Jesus' presence in the Eucharist and affirm it in our lives. It's very simple: Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist or He is not; I BELIEVE THAT HE IS.

Think about what a gift it is to know Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist. Do you know what this means? It means Jesus, who sits at the right hand of the Father is present in this wafer of bread. He comes to us daily to nourish us, to heal us, to sustain us. This is incredible! This is awesome! The almighty savior humbles himself to come to us under the appearance of bread and wine at each and every Eucharist. What a precious gift.
