+ In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Glory to you, our God, glory to you!

O Heavenly King, Comforter, Spirit of Truth, who are present everywhere and filling all things, Treasury of Blessings and Giver of Life, come and dwell in us, and cleanse us from all impurity and save our souls, O gracious Lord.

+ Holy God! Holy Mighty! Holy Immortal! Have mercy on us. (3 times)

+ Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

O Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us. Lord, cleanse us from our sins. Master, pardon our transgressions. Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities, for your name’s sake.

Lord, have mercy. (3 times)

+ Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and let us not succumb to temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. / For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, + of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Come, let us worship God, our King! Come, let us worship and fall down before Christ, our King and our God! Come, let us worship and fall down before Christ himself, our King and our God!

Lord, have mercy. (12 times)
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to your steadfast love; and according to your abundant mercy, blot out my transgressions. / Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. / For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. / Against you only have I sinned, and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are justified in your sentence and blameless in your judgment. / For behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. / For behold, you desire truth in the inward being; therefore teach me wisdom in my secret heart. / Purge me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. / Fill me with joy and gladness; let the bones that you have humbled rejoice. / Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquities. / Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. / Do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take your Holy Spirit from me. / Restore to me the joy of your salvation and uphold me with a willing Spirit. / Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will be converted to you. / Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue will rejoice in your deliverance. / O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will sing your praise. / For if you desired sacrifice, I would have given it; were I to give whole burnt offerings, you would not be pleased. / The sacrifice acceptable to God is a humble spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. / Do good to Zion in your good pleasure; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. / Then you will be pleased with sacrifices of righteousness, in oblations and holocausts; then bulls will be offered on your altar.
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages. Light of Light, true God of true God; begotten, not made; of one essence with the Father, by whom all things were made; who for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and became man. And was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, suffered and was buried; and on the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures, and ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father; and he will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead; whose kingdom will have no end. And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father; who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets. + In One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the remission of sins. I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
(100 times – or one for each knot of your prayer rope)

* On each bead in between the sets of knots, you may want to make a bow or a prostration, adding personal intentions or other prayers, such as: + Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
+ It is truly right to bless you, O Theotokos, ever-blessed, and most pure, and Mother of our God. More honorable than the cherubim, and beyond compare more glorious than the seraphim. Without corruption you gave birth to God the Word, + the very Theotokos, we magnify you.

+ Rejoice! O Virgin Theotokos! Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, for you have borne the Savior of our souls.

* The Angelic Salutation (“Rejoice! O Virgin Theotokos!”) is often done with a small metania (half prostration). It is performed by first making the Sign of the Cross. Then, one bends from the waist, reaches toward the floor with the right hand open and facing outward, and touches the ground.

Lord, have mercy. (3 times)

O Lord, Bless.

* As times permits, offer your own personal prayers and petitions.
+ Through the prayers of our holy fathers, Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on us and save us. Amen.

+ O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, for the sake of the prayers of your Most Pure Mother, of Saint N [the name of your patron saint], of Saints NN [the saints of the day] and of all your saints, of our holy and God-bearing fathers, have mercy on us and save us, for you are a merciful God and you love mankind. Amen.
